Week 3

2 Natural Disasters: Flood and earthquake will be the 2 most suitable natural disasters for the idea i want to implement.

What parts of the building will break? I will make the building lean forward by destroying 3 poles which holds the building in place. I will try and make the chimney fall down inside the house.Windows glass will be cracked and shattered all over the place.

What will grow / spread across the building's remaining surfaces?  I will add cracks and holes to the concrete walls. There will be mosses around the corners and other parts of the building. Rust, stains and molds will be all around the building. Dirt will be on the any glass for example: windows

What would be cool to make the process of decay interactive? Might add some animals like spiders, crows or bats to inhabit the house. Parts of the first floor will fall to the ground floor. Stairs will collapse when stepped on.

What evidence of the building being lived in will you carefully reveal to the viewer? photographs, furniture, clothes, cigarette buds. 

Will you leave evidence of what disaster caused the building to be abandoned? Sandbags will be shown in different parts of the building.
